Health care reform: What do you think?

0

Federal Times would like to hear from federal employees who might be affected by the health care reform bill passed last week.

Do you have an adult child who can get health coverage as a result of the bill? Are you concerned about the excise tax or how it might affect your premiums? Are you worried that putting the Office of Personnel Management in charge of insurance exchanges could take its attention away from its traditional missions? Send us an e-mail at slosey@federaltimes.com.

  1. I think the reason why all Republicans are against the Health Care law is obvious. Because it highly taxes the people they represent. Those earning over 200k yearly individual or 250k jointly. And to think, I used to vote Republican. Thanks for absolutely nothing!!!

  2. It’s a big step in the right direction, but like anything else it will need to be tweaked as practical application reveals issues that weren’t concrete during conceptualization. Despite all the GOP rhetoric and lack of participation, this turned out to be more similar to Romney’s health care plan than the desired plan of most Dems. If anything, this plan leans right.
