An eye-opener for me was learning the 9/11 attackers a few weeks earlier had rented a plane in Georgia and possibly flew over downtown Atlanta, over the federal buildings where I work for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Targets can be anywhere.
In this field of government work, our mission is to be vigilant, safety-oriented and to protect the public. We also ask for public to do its part and let us know ways we can improve on to help.
